Famous Chi Omega Spotlight

This month we'd like to feature University of Tennessee women's basketball coach Pat Summitt. Pat is an initiate of Xi Zeta at the University of Tennessee-Martin.

Coach Summitt has coached the Lady Vols to eight NCAA national championships and is the all-time winningest coach in both men's and women's college basketball.

Despite her recent Alzheimer's Disease diagnosis, Pat continues to be a shining example of leadership and loyalty and is admired by her Chi Omega Sisters!

Upcoming Cinco de Chi O Dates

Take a look at what we have coming up this spring...

April Cinco de Chi O

April 2: Golf on Grounds to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This is the Lambda Gamma's philanthropy and they would love to have the alumnae's support. Teams of four play golf around UVA's Grounds with an active Chi Omega as their caddy. The event lasts all day, so times are flexible (it usually take about an hour). We'll send out more info soon, but it's a really fun event and a great way to get involved. Families and kids are welcome!


May Cinco de Chi O 

May 6: Dinner at Mono Loco. Yes, we know the actual Cinco de Mayo is the day before, but we learned that a crowded restaurant and one very loud mariachi band doesn't make for a great event, so we're going to celebrate the next day!


June Cinco de Chi O 

June 11: Dinner and a movie. Join us for dinner at one of Cville's great restaurants and then catch one of the new summer movies.
